Our history
Caimi was born in Chile in 1947 founded by Mr. Italo Caimi Croci, with a long history in the textile sector, has with synthetic leather factories in Chile, Brazil and Mexico, leader in the Latin American markets and with a solid position of a company innovative and reliable.
In Mexico Caimi Leon is part of an alliance between Caimi SAC (Chile) and Grupo León (Mexico), who have a long history in the textile sector with a presence for more than 60 years, marketing synthetic leather since 1998 as León Supplier SA CV
Caimi León SA de CV began its activities in 2007 as a distributor of Caimi synthetic leather manufactured at its plant in Chile and Brazil, and in 2009 it opened its own plant in Mexico and began local manufacturing.
